Stars engulf the sky like the striking of
a match
It burns but never burns out. Binary
star.
He knows about black holes and the sun
and the moon and their magnitude. He
needs to be right
always right. And I just need to not be
wrong
there’s more to things, than just black
or
white. Day and night. Night, I can see it
burning in your eyes
pupils flaring, wanting to tell me about
how one day we could all fall into a
black
hole and never know
how we all radiate energy, intensity in
the pulls of gravity
bursts of infinity orbit around
Inevitabilities.
Take me in this winter wind, accelerate
me through
thick and thin
Teach me about, the theory
of everything.
